Cable Clear is composed primarily of a biodegradable solvent occurring in nature that is the main component of citrus peel oil. The FDA and FEMA list the major component in Cable Clear as GRAS (generally recognized as safe).

Uses and Applications: Cable Clear can be used to remove cable floodant/gels, water blocks, c-cement, filling compounds, greases, and other petroleum based products from telecommunication cable, filled (PIC) telephone cable, plastic tubes and cladding in fiber optic cable, or filled CATV cable.
